Areas

Use areas as clear ownership boundaries. Keep them specific enough to trust and quiet enough not to distract from daily work.

Create area

Opinionated default: keep names short and concrete. If you hesitate, it is probably too broad.

New work should have a clear area before planning or review.

Checking saved areas

You can prepare the next area while saved rows load.

Coming back after time away

Applies on this device. Choose 1 to 365 days (up to one year). The starting setting is 3 days.

Area charters

A charter describes what an area is for, its ideal state, its current season, and its constraints. It personalizes AI parsing for that area through the single context-assembly module. Leaving it empty keeps prompts unchanged.

Operator profile

Describe your named strengths and weaknesses and how the assistant should compensate (for example: starting friction, so require a concrete first move). This personalizes AI parsing through the single context-assembly module.

Google Calendar admin

Google Calendar

Connect Google Calendar so LifeOS can check conflicts and create events only after approval.

Data export

Download everything in your account as one file: your areas, captures, tasks, projects, plans, calendar blocks, focus sessions, reviews, health history, and a record of every change LifeOS made to your calendar. Your Google sign-in is never part of it.

Run setup again

Walk through the three setup steps again — areas, day shape, and a first capture. Nothing is deleted: existing areas show up as the starting point.

Local reset

This only clears on-device data on this device. It does not delete cloud data.
